Perissa is a popular summer resort on the South East coast of the island, separated from Kamari by Mesa Vouno mountain. The beach is long and spacious, with black sand and clear deep blue waters. Perissa, as well as the adjacent beaches of Perivolos and Agios Georgios, is well organized with straw umbrellas and colourful sunbeds. Here you can find the best water sports facilities and the most fancy beach bars. Also, there are many tavernas and restaurants, most of them on the beachfront, serving very good Greek and international cuisine.
