Neriana is a tranquil village with 98 permanent dwellers, located in the western part of Crete, Chania Prefecture. It is built among orchards and olive groves, on an area ideal for long walks and bicycling.
It took its name from the numerous little streams which water the valley resulting in lush vegetation (nero means water in greek). The village has not amenities – the only amenity that you will find here is a traditional coffee shop (kafenio in greek) – but it is located 2.5km away from Voukolies and 5km away from the coastal village of Tavronitis, where you can find everything.
