Φαφλαγκός
Faflagos beach is a small settlement of 5-10 houses between Psari Forada village and Arvi village. The distance from Tsoutsouras and Keratokampos are 31 and 18 km and the distance from Heraklion city is 87km.
Latomia and Faflagos are two adjacent pebbly beaches that are located nearby the greenhouses of East Arvi.
Here you cannot find even the basic facilities, so have water and umbrellas with you. Fortunately, Arvi is 1km close, so you can get anything you need from there. You can drive here from Heraklion, through Viannos and Arvi. After Arvi, head 1km eastbound, along the coastline.

It is hard to believe that a village with such an extensive beach and attractive setting has so far been entirely by-passed by all but the most inquisitive of explorers. Situated on the shores of the Libyan Sea, 2km west from Tertsa village and 4km east from Arvi, where the climate is especially kind all year round, Psari Forada is perfect for true escapists to lose all traces of stress and relax in the virtual time warp of a small Cretan village.
Local life revolves around the production of fruit, vegetables and olive oil and tourism is still a new phenomenon. Villagers regard their summer visitors with a friendly and naive curiosity, visitors soon adapt to the carefree way of life and despite the lack of a common language many new friendships are forged over a jug or two of the local wine.
