Κουντούρα

Grammeno is a area with 2 beaches at the region of Koundoura area southwets Crete, Chania Prefecture, 5km west from Paleochora.There are a lot of cedars trees there, so there is shadow in some points. 

Grammeno is a small peninsula with 2 beaches on the eastern and western side. The eastern beach (also known as Alonaki Beach) has pebbles and the western is a sandy one.

In the beach are realised sea sports, as well as in her wider space become rentings of cars, motorcycles, bicycles and exist hotels and rented rooms. At the duration of summery period are realised environmental and educational activities, as seminars, speeches, cleanings of coasts, competitions of painting and photograph and participate in Navy Week every two years.
