Krios is one of the many nice pebbly beaches on the Paleochora region. On the west, one small beach is separated by the main beach by some rocks.
Krios is situated 1 km west from Kountoura area, where many greenhouses are located and 11 m from Paleochora.
Between Paleochora and Krios Beach you can find Grammeno beach, Karavopetra Beach and Pachia ammos.

Grammeno is a area with 2 beaches at the region of Koundoura area southwets Crete, Chania Prefecture, 5km west from Paleochora.There are a lot of cedars trees there, so there is shadow in some points.
Grammeno is a small peninsula with 2 beaches on the eastern and western side. The eastern beach (also known as Alonaki Beach) has pebbles and the western is a sandy one.
