Παραλία

Agios Petros is the first of Kardiani’s three beaches (Kalivia and Bay of Giannaki are the other two). Its fine white sand along with its crystal waters creates a wonderful landscape.  It is ideal for those of you who want to spend your holidays peacefully. In Agios Petros beach you can find the homonymous chapel of the 16th century.

Παναγία Βρυσιώτισσα

Τέσσερα χιλιόμετρα από το χωριό Ταραμπάδος βρίσκεται η εκκλησία της Παναγίας Βρυσίου, δίπλα στη θάλασσα, σε ένα όμορφο φυσικό τοπίο. Τη σημερινή της μορφή η εκκλησία πήρε στα τέλη του 19ουαιώνα, ενώ η ανέγερσή της οφείλεται στην Εύρεση της Θαυματουργής Εικόνας της Παναγίας της Βρεφοκρατούσας τον 17οαιώνα.

Αυτός ο ναός έχει εξελιχθεί σε σημαντικό καθολικό κέντρο της Ελλάδας. Για λόγους ασφαλείας η αυθεντική εικόνα φυλάσσεται στο ναό του χωριού Ταραμπάδος και στην Παναγία Βρυσίου υπάρχει αντίγραφο της. Μόνο στις 15 Αυγούστου και την πρώτη Κυριακή του Μαΐου μεταφέρεται η αυθεντική εικόνα εδώ. Τις μέρες αυτές γίνονται και πανηγύρια.

The second beach of the village of Kardiani is located 13km northwestern of the town of Tinos in the southern part of the island with an excellent view on the island of Syros. The beach of Giannaki Bay is sandy with pebbles and is ideal for families. Two taverns by the beach serve delicious local food. Eastern to the beach of Giannaki Bay spreads the beach of Kalivia. This sandy beach with refreshing shade is the third beach of Kardiani.

The beach of Agios Romanos with the homonymous chapel is situated in the southern part of the island. The beach is long sandy with pebbles and has an amazing view of the island of Syros. Agios Romanos is not an organized beach and is reachable only by a descending path. At the end of the beach there is a small port and a local tavern.
