Μέρη κοντινά με ΔΗΜΟΤΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ ΠΑΡΑΝΥΜΦΩΝ
A circular hike organised by the Mountaineering Club of Heraklion, Crete - www.eos-her.gr. The route starts and ends at the village of Paranimfi on Asterousia mountains in Heraklion prefecture near Charakas village (see the first image-map from the photo gallery).
It is a six-hour-long hike on dirt road and trail. Altitude difference all-in-all about 600 m down to Tris Ekklisies coastal village and 600 m up to the starting point by Paranimfi Village. Paranimfi Village is accessible by Harakas village (Messara plain). It can be combined with Geocaching. The distance from Heraklion city is 53 km and 1h 10min drive.
