Κρούφτρες

Πρόκειται για ένα παλιό και ιστορικό μοναστήρι που κτίστηκε στο τέλος του 17ου αιώνα, λίγο έξω από το χωρίο Στενή. Το συγκρότημα αποτελείται από την εκκλησία του Αγίου Φραγκίσκου και από το - εμφανώς μεταγενέστερα κτισμένο - τριώροφο κτίριο που ορθώνεται αριστερά της. Εκεί στεγάζονται τα κελιά των μοναχών και οι βοηθητικοί χώροι, ενώ στο κατώι λειτουργεί μουσείο γεωργικών εργαλείων.

The village of Falatados is located northern of the town of Tinos, opposite the mountain Kechrovouni. Fatalados is an amphitheatrically built village and its residents are mainly animal breeders. The marble church of Agios Ioannis, the square of the Cycladic Megalochari, the church of Agios Nikolaos and the magnificent dome of the church of Agia Paraskevi are all trademarks of Fatalados. A Folkloric Museum is open to the public. Don’t miss visiting the facilities where raki (Greek alcohol drink) is produced.
