On the eastern side of the Gulf of Kissamos, are a couple of quiet beaches at Nopigia. In Nopigia, there is an attractive camping site on the waters edge where you can use the swimming pool, camper or not, for the price of a coffee or snack. Faces north.

In front of Nopigia village lies the vast beach, which stretches to the west up to Kissamos (The beach is located 5 kilometer east of the town of Kissamos and at 36 kilometer distance of Chania). They are a mix of pebble and rock and in some places the beach become deep quite quickly - perfect for scuba-diving. The beach is clear with shallow waters in other parts. Nopigia village is just off the beach, thus you will find all the necessary touristic facilities there, such as umbrellas, showers, restaurants and accommodation. Nopigia is an ideal choice for holidays in a tranquil environment. If you walk to the east, the beach becomes rockier and more secluded. There are several pebbly and rocky coves to the east.
