Monolithos is a tiny village located along an organised beach. It is ideal for relaxing holidays. Location: Eastern coast, 8 km from Fira, 3 km from Kamari, 2 km from airport, 10 km from port. Beach: Shallow waters, black sandy beach, organised with umbrellas, sun beds, and beach bar. The northern part of the beach is quiet and uncovered. Transportation: Regular bus service to Fira. Dining: Restaurants and tavernas, most of them on the sea front. Nightlife: In Kamari and Fira. Accommodation: Here are located some of the nicest complexes on the island.
