Here the visitor starts their acquaintance with the museum: here are available various information materials and from here are organized the tours.

Media & Education Area
The lecture hall (capacity about 40 people) is equipped with up-to-date technical equipment for putting across information to the visitor.

Exhibition Area
Holding a key role in the museological approach of the museum is the display of real objects and of artistic compositions associated with the event. By their appropriate and properly treated subject-matter these reveal the scale and symbolic value of the sacrifice made by the Viannos people: they express the importance and historical significance of the event.

The exhibition of personal documents and relics of the victims
The interplay in our memories of the historic event at that spot with the timeless nature of such deeds
