Leaving from Tsoutsouros and returning to Kato Kasteliana , the road leads east to Favriana. The village is built on the hill that dominates the region and provides marvellous view up to the hilltops that separate the three plains; of Messara, of Arkalochori and the Kasteli Plain.
The Anapodiaris river roars during the winter months, while in the summertime, a permanent fresh breeze protects residents and visitors from the excessive heat of the sun. The position of the village, in close proximity to ancient city Priansos, and the archaeological discoveries in the wider area, suggest a long and interesting existence.
