From Chivadolimni following the central road you get to Aghia Marina. Then, descending on the earth-road towards the sea there is a quiet blue beach viewing the entire port. The “Rivari” lagoon is located nearby.

Achivadolimni

It is the biggest beach of the island with a snow-white coast and navy blue shallow waters.
There, you will find an organized camping and the beach is accessible by bus, too. It was named after the lake that exists in the opposite side which is full of clams.

Achivadolimni or Chivadolimni is divided into two beaches: the first is more quiet and isolated, whereas the second is more frequent, organized and there are a beach-bar and restaurants. The beach is the ideal choice for the lovers of surfing and kite-surfing.

Milos 2794 hits
As the ship approaches the port in Milos, you will be faced with a quite spectacular view. Its strange horseshoe shape, emerging out of the blue waters of the Aegean combined with the great Greek sun, creates a majestic and glorious spectacle. You will be filled with the desire to embrace it...what we can guarantee is that you will love it! Milos is one of the most seductive and hospitable of the Cyclades islands. It is 86 nautical miles from the Pireaus port and it has an area of 151 sq. km. This amazing island has approximately 5,000 inhabitants, who live in a total of eight settlements. They are Plaka, Plakes, Triovassalo, Pera Triovassalo, Apollonia or Pollonia, Zefiria, Tripiti and Adamada. Milos is noted for its volcanic ground, as well as for its rich in minerals subsoil. Its volcanos were active during the last 3,000,000 (million) years, but today they are considered to be inactive. During your stay in Milos, we propose that you visit the archaeological museum in Plaka, the catacombs and the ancient theatre in Tripiti, the extraordinary cave of Pafragas and the archaeological site in Apollonia as well as the wonderful historic temples, which are spread in nearly all the settlements (villages). Milos is waiting for you... it is worth the visit!

Aghia Marina (Saint Marina)
On the way to Halakas, just before you get to the beach of Fatourena, you will reach the monastery of Saint Marina. This monastery was in operation from around 1650 to 1830 and it is one of the 13 monasteries the French traveler Tournieyef visited while it was still in operation and which he mentions with admiration in his travel accounts. (Tournieyef visited Milos in 1700).
