Ysternia is an amphitreatrically built village with an amazing panoramic view and is 3km away from the village of Kardiani. It is the home-town of well-known artists whose works are exhibited on the Artists’ Museum of the village. Ysternia has always been a home of marble sculptors; therefore you can admire many pieces of their work with special regards to the marble templon in the church of Agia Paraskevi. Going northwards you can see the Windmills of Ysternia while the monastery of Panagia Katakoliani is located to the centre of the village. There is a marble path that separates the village from its beautiful beach.
The beach of Panormos lies beneath the homonymous village. This is the old port of Tinos where the marble trading was carried out. Due to the winding conditions on the area, the beach is perfect for windsurfing. In the middle of the bay there is the small islet of Planitis which is a natural habitat for many small animals. Planitis attracts many visitors every year.
Leftwards to Panormos one can see the beach of Agias Thalassas. The beach is wind-sheltered. Rightwards to Panormos there is the sandy beach of Rochari. The beach of Rochari has a beach bar and hygiene facilities.
