Church of Our Lady in Arhontiko
The church of Our Lady on the north side of Arhontiko is a single – aisled cemetery church with frescoes dating back to 1352, during the reign of Emperor Ioannis E΄ Palaiologοu, as it is indicated by an inscription on its walls. The temple is consistent with the usual pictorial representations found in this kind of temples.

Church of Agios Ioannis (Saint Ioannis) in Galata
This is a two-aisled Byzantine church, the architecture of which is quite impressive in the surrounding natural environment of great beauty. The frescoes inside have not survived, while in order to get to the church, you should follow the road that leads from the Galatas village to Arkalohori. It stands on the right side of this main road.

Fountain of Houmeri 2624 hits

In the small, traditional village of Houmeri, dating from the Venetian period, lies the homonymous fountain. The renovated fountain is situated on the west side of the village at the Foothills of Houmeriani Kefala, as it is said. Cool and clean water runs from the fountain, as it comes from a spring. The surrounding area is always clean and trees with thick foliage create an ideal environment for anyone who wants to rest in the shade or enjoy a meal, since benches and tables have been placed for the visitors.

Church of Our Lady in Houmeri
The single – aisled church of Our Lady in Houmeri has frescoes dating to the late 15th century. It has been extended to the west and south side, leading to the destruction of the murals. The pictorial decoration represents the provincial style of painting and it is of particular interest, as drafts of saints are saved, which is something extremely rare.
