Kampanos (Greek Καμπανός) is a village in Chania Prefecture on the island of Crete, Greece. It has 205 residents (2001 census source) and it is the capital town of the municipality of East Selino (Anatoliko Selino). Anatoliko Sélino is a municipality on the south coast and it is part of the Selino province which covers much of the mountain and coastal region west of Sfakia.The other villages of the Sougia Valley area include Rodovani, Skafi, Sougia, Temenia, Epanochori. Sougia Beach is 22 km far and Chania City 52.
The village of Tsiskiana is located at the west Sougia Valley and 3 km from Epanochori Village, on the way to Chania City. The distance to Sougia Beach is 24 km and from Chania city 49.
There is beautifull view to the the Lefka Ori (White mountains) and to the Sougia Valley.
Skafi village is situated at a slope of a 1350 m high mountain, 2 km from Kabanos Village in West Crete. The Skafi area has additional the villages of Pera Skafi, Lakiana and Tsagariakos. With rich vegetation and hidden from the central road Chania - Sougia it is a special place for hiking.
