Apopigadi (1335m) is a Mountain in Chania prefecture in the Crete Region of Greece. Locations near Apopigadi include the small Settlement of Spina to northwest and the Village of Sebronas to northeast.

The small chapel of St. - John was built in 1873, by founder Stelios Sifakis from Agia Irini village, Selino area. Until 1897, when the Turks began to leave the island, this mountain region was a place where it used to meet rebels and warlords.To the southeast side of St. John chapel is a water source with ice crystal water with plane trees where visitors can find some rest and can enjoy the coolness and the beautiful landscape. This site with the source and around the church is still called " Gitemeni Vrisi"
Spina gorge is a part of Kandanos Gorge, in southwest Crete, 50km far from Chania Town and 20km north of Paleochora.
Spina is a very beautiful mountainous region with rich vegetation and hidden villages. Spina village with about 20-30 houses is situated at the northern slope of the Agios Zinas Mountain (1350m), 13 km far from the central road Chania-Kandanos and 38 km far from Paleohora.
The Anisaraki or Anysaraki Village is the largest district of the village of Kantanos. Located about 3 km from the center of Kantanos. Remarkable are the Byzantine churches, and the church of Agia Anna with a well known icon.
The icon is very rare and said that there are only two more of such historical value in the world.
Skafi village is situated at a slope of a 1350 m high mountain, 2 km from Kabanos Village in West Crete. The Skafi area has additional the villages of Pera Skafi, Lakiana and Tsagariakos. With rich vegetation and hidden from the central road Chania - Sougia it is a special place for hiking. Anatoliko Sélino is a municipality on the south coast and it is part of the Selino province which covers much of the mountain and coastal region west of Sfakia.The other villages of the Sougia Valley area include Rodovani, Skafi, Sougia, Temenia, Epanochori. Sougia Beach is 24 km far and Chania City 54 from the villages of Skafi.
